Pre-k 2 Class (Chrissy Sunberg)
This week we will finish up the alphabet with the letter Z. We will create a Zebra with paper and glue.
We are going to create paper tube parrots in honor of earth day last week and we are going to explore circle painting, while we use or recycled paper tubes. Again, it is a simple way to introduce toddlers to paint. The paper tube fits easily in their small hands and it adds some distance between the paint and the hands. While some of our pre-k two’s love paint others rather use crayons but I do try to encourage using paint.
The class is going to get dirty while we attempt to garden. We will decorate plant holders and plant some seeds.
The books we will be reading are:
- The Tiny Seed
- The Carrot Seed
